Noch bis vor ein paar Jahren war der Sonnenschliff Standard bei teuren Klappmessern. In letzter Zeit ist er jedoch etwas aus der Mode gekommen. Eine verzierte Mechanik mache ich nur noch selten.

Until a few years ago, the sunburst cut was standard on expensive folding knives. Lately, however, it has gone somewhat out of fashion. I rarely make a decorated mechanism anymore.
